Nivea Skin Cream Original Review

Nivea Skin Cream Original

Hi Friends,

This is a cream that most of us have used in their childhood. It is called Nivea skin cream and my mother used to get this or ponds. That time was of heavily scented or instant whitening creams and sometime you just need a cream to moisturize your face without looking white or smelling like flowers. So this was a cream that women and mostly men in my family were fond of this.

Product Claim:-

This moisturising cream is enriched with the skin caring agent Eucerit. NIVEA Creme is an everyday, multi-purpose moisturising cream for oily skin which protects and gives relief from damaged skin, leaving it healthy. Besides, the NIVEA Creme can be used in countless ways. Soothe your skin after sunbathing or before shaving – nothing is more universal or versatile than NIVEA Creme. The skin around your nail bed, elbows and face needs more care, hence NIVEA Creme is the perfect remedy. Before any kind of hair removal, a little bit of NIVEA Creme helps sooth any kind of skin. Men love it after a shave too. It is also an awesome eye make-up remover.  NIVEA Creme is a popular day cream and night cream. One thick layer and say hello smooth skin. If your feet are subjected to constant torture because of high heels, rub some NIVEA Creme over the sides of your feet and the back of your ankle. Because this doesn’t dry off really quickly, it will help keep your feet from getting blisters. You can even use NIVEA Creme on your lips when they get chapped in the cold weather.

My opinion on the product:-

Dry and patchy skin during winters is normal and a good moisturizer becomes a necessity to keep skin hydrated and lock in the moisture. Just like ponds this one was my family’s favorite and we used to get the biggest available tub in the market. I know the idea of whole family dipping their finger in the same tub make me frown now but that time nobody thought of this.

The cream comes in blue painted tin tub with Nivea Cream written on its lid. After opening the lid you will get the cream secured with silver foil seal which you need to pull or tear to get the cream out. This cream has very thick, smooth and silky texture, it spreads evenly on my skin easily. It is multi-purpose cream, white in color and has very mild fragrance. It can be used for hands, lips, feet, face and body.

Can also double up as a make-remover or as a cuticle cream, or to soften cracked heels and dark elbows the list is endless. This cream is a classic from Nivea and had been used from ages. It sinks into my skin without leaving any residue and makes my skin oily a little sometimes after application. I usually take a pea size amount and put dots all over my face and then massage it gently in my facial skin. It works wonderfully to nourish, heal and repair skin. My skin is oily in summer and dry in winters so I use it before wearing makeup in winters and also apply it as a night cream during winters. It makes my skin look so supple and gives a healthy glow to my face in the morning.

It is a wonderful moisturizer for my skin during winters as it is a little heavy for my skin in summers. It has solved my dry and patchy skin problem that is very common in winters.  It is very gentle and I sometime use it to remove my makeup too. Just dab a little amount on your face spread on face and over makeup gently and wipe it clean with a tissue. Follow it with a face wash and apply toner and moisturizer.
