My Winter Essentials for 2013 – 2014

Hi Everyone,

Winter is approaching and I was a little busy collecting all my favorite products that I’ll be using this winter. In winters my skin needs special care and attention and after joining the blogging community I have started to take my beauty regime seriously. I was aware of the benefits of CTM – Cleansing, Toning and moisturizing before, but always skipped the toning part and sometime moisturizing also. I am very lazy and keep my skin care routine to minimal.

I follow CTM routine at least 2 times a day, 1st time while having bath and 2nd before sleeping. I also use facepacks or masks 2-3 times a week and scrub at least once a week. So keeping all that in mind I have selected these products and wanted to share with you all.

This is Vaseline healthy hand and nail conditioning review here. They are very rich and keeps my nails nourished.

Lotus rose toner is one of my favorite toner and I have been using it for almost 2 yrs now. Before I used rose water but wanted to something more beneficial. The bottle is a spray bottle and is reusable and hygienic. I liked the way of applying toner in spraying way. There is no product wastage and you get the toner out without touching it.

Now is the time for some body lotions. I use Vaseline cocoa glow, Biotique aloevera lotion and Ayur cold cream for my whole body. They are must for winters, and I have very dry hands and legs. In winters my skin on legs starts to bleed, yes it gets that dry and these lotions and creams very rich and keeps my skin hydrated for a very long time. Also the Biotique alovera lotion has SPF 80+ which is good.

For my face I trust Elovera cream from Glenmark and Himalaya Intensive face moisturizing lotion. The Elovera cream is a little heavy but shows amazing results when used patiently.

For my eyes I use almond oil or aroma Magic eyes cream every day before going to bed. They keep the pigmentation and dark circles under check and skin around my eyes hydrated.

I don’t sweat too much so just a talc is enough to make me smell good.

Last but not the least some face wash (not in the picture) and scrubs. You need to scrub in winters too as the skin becomes dry and flaky in this season.

These are my winter essentials and I can’t do anything without them. What are yours? Please share your thought and story.
